What are you gonna have for breakfast?
What are you gonna listen to?
And what are you mad you didn’t get to check of your bucket list?
I’m going to head to work as usual. Afternoon will be library and laundry. And then I’ll help decorate for our Christmas service. If it is the end of the world, at least I’ll have clean laundry and be with my friends.
I’ll start. Churizo con huevos while listening to Gangstas Paradise by Coolio.
I mean what better way to go out?
Oh. And I’ll be mad I never sat on the floor of a NBA game.
Taking my boys out for Donuts… It is Daddy’s day off after all. How convenient.
We’ll probably listen to a mix of Veggie Tales Silly Songs and Christmas music… Man they love that stuff. Hate that I have to listen to that as my last thing, but Ill love hearing them sing along. Then Im gonna sit on my porch, have a good pipe session with a little good whiskey while regreting not being able to ever get to try and scale Everest. But you know what? Ill probably be over it by Saturday…
This isn’t really answering your question, but here goes. I’m upset about a classmates of my 8yo daughter telling her there is no Santa Claus and then her coming home the same day and seeing people on tv talking about the world ending tomorrow!
She was crying and upset. I asked her, Have you seen Jesus yet? She said no. I told her, Then the world isn’t ending. These people who say the world are ending do not believe in Jesus. Then I made a joke by telling her the Mayans ran out of rocks or their hands started hurting too much.
Michael Buble’s Christmas album
My favorite cereal & french press coffee.
A mix of Pandora Christmas, Pandora Elevation Worship, and Pandora Michael Jackson (by Friday afternoon I’m always ready for a dance party)
Hmm…I’ll be bummed I didn’t start my blog. And I’ll be bummed that I didn’t get to see what my mixed offspring would look like (I’m white, he’s Indian)
Guac and Chips. (Gangster Level: Expert)
New Mum&Sons top to bottom, no skipping
Mad I don’t get to kiss my wife at some cliche little cafe in Italy.
Will be listening to the sound of fishing boats and seagulls mixed with a little Christmas music a la Sufjan.
Bummed that I never got around to hiking the AT with my kids.
If it’s the end, I’m eating a giant loaf of bread. Real gluten-loaded bread.
Listening to my kids giggle.
Sad I never went to Alaska.
Tons of black coffee and probably some bacon.
Everything: Bach, Mumford, Harp & Lyre, Chris Thile, Skrillex, Adele, For Today…
I’m going to regret never snowboarding, never learning a whole instrument, and never being enough of a “mover and shaker”.
Apples & Cinnamon instant oatmeal.
