Why is something so mean so funny? I bet that little girl had a blast.

  • shawna middleton

Watched this today with my hubby & kids they found it hilarious, but I guess my female softy side overpowered my usual sense of humor, bc I actal felt bad for them. Mainly the older people, I was waiting for someone to have a heart attack, yes I see some humor in it, but it’s kinda mean in my humble opinion hopefully they all laughed about it later lol. Maybe I am to much of a softy :)

  • Mike G

Ha! Probably scream, shout and/or cry, just like the everyone else…although probably not in Spanish.

  • Jenn

That’s SO mean! I would have freaked out!!!

  • http://chaplainandrews.com Keith Andrews

In America–somebody would be gettin’ sued!!!

  • Dawn Thomas

I don’t get into elevators. This just makes me realize I never will. I would have had a heart attack!

  • http://tackelbox.wordpress.com Keith

I would have screamed like a little girl… And let’s be honest, probably peed myself a little. Ha!

  • http://ourfamilye.wordpress.com me eliz

1.) I would have peed my pants
2.) I would have screamed like a little girl
3.) When I found out it was a prank I would have prayed to God that they don’t air mine because of all the bleeping out they have to do! :)

    • Brandon

      1.) peed…. check
      2.) screamed like a little girl…. check
      3.) prayed…. check, check, check :)

  • Eric

    bro,
i would have kicked that kid in the throat!
i know that sounds mean but when it comes to being scared my reaction is to hit haha.

    • Joey Bergeron

I would do the same, Eric. Training in martial arts makes you react without thinking. Sorry kid. I thought you were gonna kill me.

    Heck freakin yeah I’d scream!

  • http://dirtygirlsministries.com Crystal Renaud

When I saw this yesterday, all I could think about was, “wow, they so lucky no one hit that little girl!”

  • Imee D.

I would probably start rebuking her in the name of Jesus! Haha! …but for real, though.

    • Imee D.

That is, after I shouted an expletive and peed my pants a little.

  • Brian C.

I’m just bummed the elevator at my church couldn’t accommodate a prank like this! Mean…maybe. Hilarious…OF COURSE!!!

  • http://www.thesaltlick.tv Peter G

THAT IS HYSTERICAL. I loved it! I laughed at every single one. Hilarious. Seriously though, why don’t we do funny stuff like that here? Come on now, we can’t have Telemundo showing us up like that! ;)

  • http://mimiandbutterbean.blogspot.com Shayne

I probably would have screamed and did a little Holy Ghost buckin’ and jivin’ and then I probably would have went Mr. Brown on her and got out the anointing oil.

“Blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus!”

  • Bruce

I would have started yelling my prayer, then not know what to pray so some crazy sounding tongues would have come out!

Holy frikkin cow, the previously-mentioned “rebuking in Jesus’ name” would be the very *least* that would happen. If they tried to do that here in America, several things could go drastically wrong, including:

    - someone reacting without thinking and hitting/kicking/throwing things at the little girl

    - someone pulling out the concealed-carry handgun & letting ‘er rip.

After all, this IS the country that has watched shows like “Supernatural” for years-n-years-n-years now….

    - – - -

As for me, I’d probably fall into the “scream & pee my pants” crowd, lol. And a lot of the screaming would be of the “OH S**T!!!!!”variety, as well. ;)

And I have to say, I did laugh, and felt guilty for doing so. ;) AND I also felt sorry for most of the victims of the prank, as well.

First, the Spanish/Latin culture has all kinds of “old wives tales” about things that go bump in the night. So yes, these people were scared and I imagine more Americans would have been kicking and throwing punches. Second, have you seen the one with the coffin? That one is just ridiculous because I would not have stayed in a dang elevator that had a coffin brought into it!!

Also, don’t be surprised to find these kinds of pranks coming to your tv soon. American television and movies are so unoriginal. Example – The Grudge, The Ring, The Eye – all Japanese horror movies first. X-Factor, Ugly Betty, etc – again, remakes for American audiences!!
