It’s a travel day.
I’m in the air most of today.
So I have a question for you.

I would ask you what it’s like to travel as much as you do and maintain a great family life. I have worked a job where I work at one location, no travel ever. I would love to hear about that. We would also talk about our families and how it is to raise children in today’s world. You have 3 and I have 5 (from 20 to 6 years old) so that would be a long but good topic. Finally I would talk with you on how you feel about how God continues to challenge and change us daily. I have known about Jesus for most of my life, but in the last two years I am getting to know Him, and how beautiful life can be despite our day to day circumstances. Yes there are good days and bad days but all days with Him are better than anything else life has to offer apart from Him.

Finally we might talk about some good brews…..and maybe some sports. I am a life long Falcons fan!

Music. more specifically what is inspiring/influencing you and asking if our churches are getting into a “rut” when it comes to the style or type of music we are using to worship.

Leadership. As a 25 year old I would pick your brain as a young leader on how to properly seek out the discipleship of pastors in front of me. Also, how to gain “footing” in leadership as a young pastor, age obviously isn’t the issue it’s how to break that mold that has been created for young pastors. * I am certain the topic of leading creatively would come out in this conversation!

Being a husband. I am asking the woman of my dreams to marry me soon and I would, again, pick your brain on managing time, spending QUALITY time with her, and honoring her as a Godly man. *as well as any tips.

I’d love to have you share about your struggle with anxiety. I’ve lived with it for years and I hate it but more than that, I hate the critcisim and judgement I get from Christian brothers and sisters (especially my pastor) about it and the my treatment plan. Right now, I’m beginning to realize that God is calling me into something but it’s not defined what it is yet. What He’s making clear is that He’s not wanting me to have a 9-5 job and He’s calling me to give up control of my life. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Since you live that way, I’d talk to you about how to really step into a life of total dependence on God for your provisions and how to really discern His leading on a major scale.
