I think we would talk photography, music and faith
http://www.carusophotography.com Jay
Hm. If we shared some time together (which I’m sure will happen one day, especially when I move to ATL) I suspect we’d spend most of our time talking about our kids.
That’s just what I see happening.

How to balance Christianity and criticism within the church.
You seem to do it gracefully man.

1. Coffee, as in the most delicious coffee spots across the country. 2. Adoption. I’d ask for tips and pointers on navigating the process. 3. How I can pray for you (and then i’d go ahead and lay hands on you and be all Pentacostal).
http://www.thisisreylo.com Rey
I would want to talk about how to be more disciplined to post more regularly on my blog. I’m getting a bit of inspiration from you here, so that’s good.
I’d also want to talk about faith and culture.
Finally, any advice you could give a novice about wine would be welcome.

Honestly, it wouldn’t matter what we talked about. Anything and everything! Just chilling and sharing with each other would be awesome.
http://gccstl.org Josh
We would talk about adoption and how it is the most amazing experience ever. How God adopted us into his family, we should look after orphans physically and spiritually.
Marssia
Where we grew up and who left a footprint in our lives that has impacted who we are today…its just fun to reminisce sometimes:)
http://aluminumsoil.com Matt
I’d love to talk about the creative process behind writing worship music. I’m booked with a studio to record a full-length worship album in March, and so I’d love to hear your thoughts and advice.
http://www.christwaychurch.org Matt
We’d talk about being a worship leader and musician, but what to do when God calls you to a different role in church leadership. We’d also talk about our shared bouts with Anxiety and learning in Grace.
http://twitter.com/kylesullivan Kyle Sullivan
I think we’d talk about hypocrisy in the church, what real music is, your tactical parenting skills, and beer.
Wayne Loveless
I would ask you what it’s like to travel as much as you do and maintain a great family life. I have worked a job where I work at one location, no travel ever. I would love to hear about that. We would also talk about our families and how it is to raise children in today’s world. You have 3 and I have 5 (from 20 to 6 years old) so that would be a long but good topic. Finally I would talk with you on how you feel about how God continues to challenge and change us daily. I have known about Jesus for most of my life, but in the last two years I am getting to know Him, and how beautiful life can be despite our day to day circumstances. Yes there are good days and bad days but all days with Him are better than anything else life has to offer apart from Him.
Finally we might talk about some good brews…..and maybe some sports. I am a life long Falcons fan!
Have fun travelling today Los!!

Just off the top of my head…
Worship – leading, personal, cultivating the gift
Adoption – What it does in your life/theirs/ and those around you
Creative Process – adding structure without sacrificing creative output.
Kenneth
Agree wtih Josh….we would talk about adoption. Korea for you….and China for me. I’d share some of my Korean travel adventures as well….some insane trips.
Maureen Charlton
faith, family, children, I have 5, mostly grown, probably about your age, 9 (soon to be 10) grand children, I love talking about children ‘experiences’ I am a little outspoken LOL opinionated *~* Children are our hope our future and our shining lights. they are what make it all worth while!! They are what our energy should go into and our time and hope! Not our job and ego! Outside of the fact that we were placed her to walk in relationship and to praise & worship I believe we were put on planet earth to produce and nurture the nest generation of praise and worshipers

I’d ask you about transparency. You are about as genuine as it gets – it’s one of the things I appreciate most about you. But as a pastor, is there such thing as being too transparent, and how do you find that balance?
http://www.calebgordon.com Caleb Gordon
Little brother i told you not to post on this forum!
just kidding!
Love your last name!
Albert
Truthfully? Mostly small talk.
Chris
Music. more specifically what is inspiring/influencing you and asking if our churches are getting into a “rut” when it comes to the style or type of music we are using to worship.
Leadership. As a 25 year old I would pick your brain as a young leader on how to properly seek out the discipleship of pastors in front of me. Also, how to gain “footing” in leadership as a young pastor, age obviously isn’t the issue it’s how to break that mold that has been created for young pastors. * I am certain the topic of leading creatively would come out in this conversation!
Being a husband. I am asking the woman of my dreams to marry me soon and I would, again, pick your brain on managing time, spending QUALITY time with her, and honoring her as a Godly man. *as well as any tips.
I am sure there would be more!

OK so I now realize a lot of people have asked to “pick your brain” and it sounds really creepy. I promise if we meet I will not do any brain picking…just 2 dudes talking.

crash diets. God’s sweet and perfect grace in our lives. traveling. MUSIC. your awesome family.

I’d asks why you and your wife decided to adopt abroad instead of within the States. Not that i take issue with it… just curious to know the reasoning.

I think if our kids were with us, we’d spend our time laughing at the things they do and marveling the simplicity in which they view things.
http://www.bygracetrio.com Lindsey
I’d love to have you share about your struggle with anxiety. I’ve lived with it for years and I hate it but more than that, I hate the critcisim and judgement I get from Christian brothers and sisters (especially my pastor) about it and the my treatment plan. You are very transparent so I’d love to know how you deal with people who tell you that you just “need to pray about it”.

tattoo’s!

Tattoos, Adoption, Tattoos, Photography, Tattoos, KIDS!!, Tattoos, Running, how much I love your pic of the family at the Cadillac Ranch, and Tattoo shops.

Let’s talk about what inspires us the most. Those faces, places, things, feelings, moments, songs… And then we’d talk about how random those things are

We’d argue about who the best MC of all-time is, the crazy subtleties observed throughout the Inland Empire, and how I should open for you on your next tour…
http://dubdynomite.com dubdynomite
I’m sure we’d talk about music. And video games. And our experiences walking through the dark moments in our lives. And the future, where we see it going and how we are going to get there, both for ourselves and for the Church.
http://Philnamy.com Phil
Family and travel. How to love your wife and kids, yet keep up with work especially when it involves travel. Not just how to love your wife and kids but how to help them feel loved by us as dads who travel a lot.
Oh, and just how to engage our followers on twitter and blogs, without our families feeling invaded by people online, if your at NYWC this weekend Ill find ya

Churchianity. I’d love to talk about this bubble we live in.
http://brendasbrainchild.blogspot.com Brenda
I’d want to share my story with you. I think you’d appreciate the journey. I think I’d love to hear about your kids. I’d love to hear about what it’s been like to move around and travel so much, what it’s like to literally follow God by changing locations.
B
I would want to talk about how you are raising your kids. Specifically how you are raising your kids to be respectful of others as well as teaching them about Christ. I would want to share stories and then I would want to hang out with your kids and just enjoy the freedom of being a kid.

Why you haven’t started watching The Walking Dead yet, and why you have such a hard time taking TV advice from others…

How should the church look and be run. Period. Peace.

1. Why Homeland is my new favorite show (because that’s about all I talk about these days). 2. How I had a fan-girly-stupid moment when I realized that was you leading worship at Cross Point last week (I’ve been visiting there – love it!). 3. How I love, love, love your blog, but why, why, why do my PCs at home and at work not want to open your site (I get stack overflow messages, etc.).
Matt Lynn
Finding your purpose. Just got fired from my church last night for being gay, and only for being gay. Everyone loved me there and my work ethic was great. wading in the waiting time of life. Prepping for the next step. Since you worked at Sandals for 10 years and have since branched out into things you never imagined i’d be curious to hear your thoughts on purpose and plan.

Hang in there. I’d be willing to bet God has something greater for you. Walk this valley and hold your head high. Strength and courage to you!

Yes, hang in there! I know it’s tough, but God will show you what steps to take.

I miss Heather’s blogs, too! Especially the family nights. So creative!

Right now, I’m beginning to realize that God is calling me into something but it’s not defined what it is yet. What He’s making clear is that He’s not wanting me to have a 9-5 job and He’s calling me to give up control of my life. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Since you live that way, I’d talk to you about how to really step into a life of total dependence on God for your provisions and how to really discern His leading on a major scale.
Hannah
I think we would talk about Jesus. Mostly because I think we are two people who desperately want to know Him more and long to radically obey Him. I’d like to know what it is that allows you to give all of your flaws, failings, and f*ck ups to Him and how it is you show others they are free to do the same- because from the looks of it, you’re doin a pretty decent job at that.
http://PhilLarson.net Phil Larson
I would pick your brain on how to blog better and reach more people.

Ethan Plumier
We’d talk about creativity and how to reach outside of the church walls with it.
http://www.beckycastlemiller.com Becky Miller
I would ask if that was you crossing the street in front of my car in Providence, RI, last night. Dude looked JUST like you…shaved head, beard, dressed in your style, strolling the crosswalk while talking on his iPhone.
http://jonathanpearson.net Jonathan Pearson
Definitely creativity, photography, and creating a brand/culture. Love what you do bro.
Steve Austin
I would love to hang with you and talk about anything bro. I think we would laugh…and probably cry. I know I could be real with u and that rocks. I’d honestly love to talk to you about how to grow my website/blog and also how to fundraiser for causes I am passionate about more effectively.
5 minutes or 5 hours, it would be stinking’ awesome.
You rock, Los!

Ink, balancing family with work/travel, personal pimping, being a creative machine, how to keep that goodness flowing like you do.
http://mattlewis.typepad.com/blog/ M@ Lewis
If I was on the plane with you with some time to hang….I would probably first talk about if there were snakes on the plane. Then it would probably flow into something about Sammy L & how his movies are either good or REALLY bad. Then I would ask you about you’re top ten movies and there would be a lot of random movie quotes and laughs. Then I would probably being formulated some judgements about your true identity based about your top ten movies to see if I could really trust your opinion if you gave me a movie recommendation. I know it’s not right to judge others but friends don’t let friends waste their money on bad movies…

How your parents and I have mutual friends. Slavery. Freedom. Music. Jesus.

We’d be at a show in a bar and most of thea evening we would probably just listen to the music. I honestly don’t frequent your blog, so I would probably just ask you to tell me your story.
http://www.lindseynobles.com Lindsey Nobles
We’d probably talk about…how awesome is Nashville is, how Kyle Reed likes to act like an old man, how incredible your wife is, and how I can out sing Keely Scott with my Garth Brooks tunes any day of the week.
Kendra
…the one song that changed(changes) your life. music is my soul, it connects me daily to the Love I have for the Lord and reminds daily of how infinite is love is for me. I’d love to know what ONE song brings you “there”.

We’d figure out all the people we know in common, then do that thing where you kinda nod and grin at each other a minute because you’re not sure if you just finished your whole conversation or if this is just the beginning of a deeper one. Then it would continue, and we’d talk about the age-old tug of war weirdness between ministry/music biz, art/commerce, transparency/personal boundaries, performer’s ego/servant’s heart. Then we’d move on to the best part: our families. It would get a little teary up in there. Then you’d tell me your favorite Russ Taff song and we’d sing it out loud with accompanying dance moves. Of course, that would be after a couple of beers.
http://babybloomr.com/ Babybloomr
(You DO have a favorite Russ Taff song, right?)
http://www.barachurch.com Joel. Quilé
You’d tell me about worship & I’d tell ou about preaching.
We’d both talk about beer, the Bible, coffee, creativity & solitude.
I’d ask you how I could pray for you & then I’d do it before I forgot.
I’m praying we get that beer or coffee sometime in the next 365 sunsets.
http://www.prettyladysmiles.com a girl with a smile
We would talk about marriage and the relation between it and God.

is this the proper way to role play?
http://soulformation.wordpress.com Matthew Green
What conversation would I like to have? One about what’s going on in your heart. What are the deep beliefs and desires that press you towards your ministry and your anxiety and your family and your God? What do you believe about God and yourself and other people in a place where you’re not even certain of the details? I’d like to talk about you – the parts of you you know and the parts that are working in you but are beneath your awareness and how God is working through them and on them to form you more into the man He designed you to be.
I wouldn’t mind having that conversation.

Leading worship. Due to necessity I often have to do it – and I suck at it. Would ask you how to do it better.
took me forever to figure out how to answer you. lol just getting older and more tec. illiterate. I would want to know how you keep GOD’S love alive with all the things that you do every-day always crowding in? also how can we make the video of you and daniel in atlanta viral???? That is the most amazing video/song I have ever seen. thank you. Make sure you tell your family you love them today I know you will Also how can I find a church that doesn’t get all it’s messages from arkansas or someplace, but from the Holy Spirit of God. Also, really, we are supposed to sing to a middle c on a piano???? David ( the King ) made stringed instruments, cymbals, and horns. I heard a minister say on a christian channel that it was all from the devil’s music: but I just can’t sing to a piano.

Adoption. How did you afford it and if it’s possible for others to adopt on very minimal incomes?
http://melindaguerra.myadventures.org melinda
a while ago you challenged our perspective of restoration and redemption, particularly as relates to sex offenders… do we ever REALLY restore them? or are they always consigned to being different.
your post screwed with my understanding of redemption and what it means to say someone’s truly forgiven and granted grace.
i think we’d talk about that for a while.

I would first talk about your kids.. and if we don’t spend the whole flight on that subject, I would talk to you about music. (I know after those two subjects we would already be at our destination) but if not, then I would talk to you about the most random things in the world. (it tends to happen with me)
