Not eight words, but a question. It seems many are quick to say the kids have no responsibility in this picture and they only reflect their parents attitudes. If that is the case, how can a child accept Christ?

    • http://bladeronner.com Ron Dawson

Honestly, I think it’s rare for a young child to “accept Christ” and have it be fully 100% THEIR ownership. For many believers I know, it’s important for a son or daughter to eventually make up their mind at an older age the truth of the gospel.

Perfectly put. Beautiful. I know I touted false philosophies taught to me by the world; Whole-heartedly following lies that I believed to be truth. While some see this picture and think Hitler’s actions were obviously evil and therefore easily avoidable, the children are just obediently doing what they naively think is right. They line their actions up to the lies their worlds have been shaped through. Much like ourselves before Christ showed us the truth. As you said, we were no better.
