So grateful, Carlos. I was in a head on collision and I remember seeing pieces of their car fly before I even felt the impact of them hitting me. It’s still surreal to think about. But I was alone in my car. The emotions stayed with me for a long while, but I can’t even imagine your emotions of being with Heather and your kids. I can’t even imagine. But I can be so grateful. So thankful you’re all ok.

Saw this on Twitter this afternoon and was freaked out for you guys! I had a similar situation but was air-lifted to the hospital. Praise God…I walked out of the hospital that night. I know it can shake you up…be prepared to feel sore as time goes on. I’m glad you’re all ok!

Great post! The raw emotion and slow/stop motion feel of being in an accident – so true. So scary, especially with the fam in the car. Relieved you’re all ok, grateful for new perspective you share with us. Still in Fresburg? I’m so thankful everyone is alright.

Isn’t it crazy yet cool how when our eyes are fixed on Jesus, the trauma of life can refocus our resolve onto Him?

My son cracked his head open 2 weeks ago. He fell from a ladder. He was covered in blood. He is only 2. In the midst of terrifying fear and guilt, I felt the need to live more purposefully and with more intentionality.

We are all fragile…
