I remember. I was sitting on the sofa with Brian Dyer eating homemade nachos. On the last dunk we both hugged like little girls and screamed for 5 minutes.

This brings back memories of all of those basketball highlight videos they used to sell. I remember watching a couple of them over and over and over. The slam dunk contests were always the greatest.
I can’t believe I missed this one earlier! Spud played Junior College ball here in Midland, TX. I had the privilege of watching that freak of nature play for two full seasons. He dunked for the first time when he was something like 14. Just nuts! I remember when they won the NJCAA title his soph year here……he stole a pass during that tournament and threw down one of the nastiest tomahawk jams I’ve ever seen in my life. There were guys on the other team that stood up off of their bench when he did that.
